Hello! My name is Jacob and I am a third-year student at The University of Cincinnati. I am pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from the College of Education, Criminal Justice, & Human Services. I am excited to further my education in a field that allows me to integrate people and technology.

Monitor and analyze LAN and WAN traffic throughout the network. Deployment of new technology to improve department operations. Roles include configuring, deploying and analyzing Cisco switches, Cisco phones and other Cisco related devices. Planned, organized and deployed an upgraded SolarWinds NPM, NCM,and NTA to the companies infrastructure. Created and deployed a Network operations center for the Network Support team to monitor real time data.

Worked directly with teachers administrators and students with technology related issues. Some responsibilities include managing the helpdesk ticketing system, reimaging systems, help manage the school’s network and developing websites for departments and organizations.
